Groundwork Celebrates Black History Month

On Feb. 22, Groundwork Youth, Staff, and Board Members celebrated Black History Month. This was a free virtual event sponsored by the Cincinnati Zoo. The lunch hour discussion was to bring awareness on the value of representation in green spaces and bridge an understanding in the barriers and impact Black Americans continue to struggle and overcome today in the fields of conservation, outdoor recreation, and sustainability.
